Between Joy and I we've raised 5 kids, 4 boys and my daughter is the baby of our family.
We now have 7 grand-children between the 5 kids. Three of the kids are married and two are single. We are raising two of our grand-children.
Over the past 20 years we certainly had our ups and downs, our good times and our tough times. It's called being a family. The blessing is Joy and I are almost always on the same page and almost always support the others decision.
In this website I'll discuss some of the events of our raising these kids and how we handled those moments.
Following is a menu of the different categories for my blog posts associated to family and our kids...
In the past few years I've really got into politics. Or maybe better stated, Obama and his destructive decisions has really pissed me off.
Like a lot of us American's, I do NOT like the direction this country is going and what's happening to my beloved America. Because of this I've shared a lot of my personal views on our government, Obama and the many injustices we as American's are facing. Keep in mind, I'm just a regular guy with nothing unique about me from the rest of the "Average Joe" American which you can read about further down when I share more about me and my life.
I've made numerous posts on Politics. Unlike news journalist, I'm sharing politics from the view of an American. I'm not trying to report the news. I'm simply sharing my reaction and feelings of what's going on in this country from my view point. That's it.

As a child I played baseball, and frankly, was very good at the game. I would say I had a pretty normal childhood and was raised in a loving family that did have its problems.
I have 3 children from 2 wives ... 2 boys and a daughter. Joy has been married just twice and has 2 boys. All of our children are grown adults now.
I take full responsibility for my life, the good and the bad. I don't blame others for my problems because I realize my life, whether good or bad, is in direct relationship to my thoughts, what I focus on and the actions I take, all of which is in my control and nobody else's.
Finally, I believe in God and believe that Jesus died on the cross for me. While I am not an every Sunday church goer, I have a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father that's very important to me, and I know I'm nothing without Him.
My beliefs and values are carefully established. I have a very clear reason why I believe the way I do.
